Open-source Jira MCP server for PMs: sprint health, burndown, velocity, standups, blocker detection, and weekly status notes.
Open source on GitHub and published on npm.
Most Jira integrations are built for developers. jira-pm-mcp is the project manager layer. You ask your AI assistant how the sprint is doing and it answers like a delivery lead: sprint health with a clear verdict, burndown, velocity and predictability, an auto-generated standup grouped by person, severity-ranked blockers, and a stakeholder-ready weekly status note.
It is a Model Context Protocol server, so it works with any MCP client (Claude, Cursor, Cline, and more) on any model, and it needs no AI API key. The only credential is your Jira token. It also ships a zero-config demo mode, so anyone can try it in seconds with no setup.
